We live in a very fast paced world today. When must adapt and learn to keep going and going and going. Being that this is the case, we do not have a whole lot of time to get ready in the mornings. While it is important to be on time for our obligations, we do not want to look like a hot mess. One thing that takes a whole lot of time is doing our hair. We have to mess with it to get it to go right, so we do not go out of the house looking silly. So we can do our hair in a short amount of time and still look nice, there are 3 easy hair styles that we can utilize.

One easy hair style that always looks good is putting the hair up into a bun. While this hair style is very simple, it always looks good and neat. All that has to be done is to throw our hair up into the bun and then be on our way. It really is that easy.

The next easy hair style that we can implement is blow drying our hair straight. All we have to do when doing this is to run a brush through our hair while running the hair dryer, until the hair is completely dry. Once the hair is dry, it will be neat and straight. This will keep out the frizz.

Finally, we can throw our hair up into a clip. This is easy in that we can find a nice clip that matches whatever we are wearing, put our hair in it, and then be on our way.

Hairstyles are continuously changing direction. Bangs, no bangs. Perms, no perms. Short, long, curled, straight. What is out? What is in? Here is the latest on today’s favorite hairstyles:
*Straight Hair
Women with straight hair can pull off many different cuts. A hot style right now is the asymmetrical cut with a side part. The style is edgy, cute and fresh. It looks good with nearly every face shape. You can pull off this cut with or without bangs, just kept them side-swept if you opt to have them. Hair on one side of the part will fall slightly below chin level and taper up to the other side where the hair will sit slightly above the chin. From the back, the style will look as if it has been cut just on the diagonal. Razored ends help the cut to lay nicely.
*Curly Hair
People with curly hair will be best off keeping their hair shoulder length or longer. Short layers will only create poofiness. By using a curl-defining gel you can also avoid frizz.
*Updos
The latest in updos is a teased crown with the sides and back pulled up snug. Hair should be held in a bun or French twist with several loose pieces poking out of the updo for a look that adds a touch of wild to an otherwise formal style.
*Alternative to an Updo
Formal events tend to make people think they should pull hair up, but as of recently more women are choosing to leave hair down, voluminous and wavy. A tight fixed curl is not sought after as much as a loose beachy wave. This can be achieved by braiding sections of damp hair, letting hair dry in braids for an hour and then gently unbraiding. This is followed by allowing hair to air dry completely and then using a light product to hold the look.

Staying in Style During Office Hours

December 23, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

What qualifies as a stylish outfit for work? Pairing a top, bottom, shoes, purse, jewelry and hairstyle comes easily to some, but not so easily to others. Have you ever noticed how some women look as if they must have a personal stylist at home? Here are some tricks and tips that can help you achieve a well put together look that will leave you self-assured:
*When it comes to business attire, stick with a classic palette. Black is always a good choice, as is beige, navy, chocolate and grey. The majority of your look should be one of these colors.
*When layering pieces, make the bottom most layer the garment that has attention-drawing elements. This could be a print or a bright color. Use this attention drawing piece in small quantities. You don’t want to use a loud, large print that practically screams.
*Use jewelry with gemstones that match the focal piece. This pulls your look together. *Shoes in the same shade as your attire will visually lengthen your body, making you appear confident and classy.
*Your handbag can match your shoes or, if you’re feeling bold, it can match the focal point of your outfit.
*Wearing hair back from the face is best during work hours. Hair that is worn down and forward tends to fall into eyes, causing you to continuously push it back behind an ear. Playing with your hair never looks professional. You can avoid this by using a barrette or bobby pins if you plan to wear hair down. Otherwise, an updo such as a bun, chignon or twist will hold your hair in a lasting style.
*Keep makeup natural looking. You don’t want to use bright makeup colors and heavy applications during business hours. Save that for a get together with the girls after work.

Stand-Out Hair Accessories

Accessories for hair come in many different forms. Learn which pieces work best for the style you are trying to achieve.
*Headbands are terrific when you want to wear hair down, but keep it from getting into face. This is also a quick fix for a not so great hair day. Headbands made of hard plastic typically have plastic teeth for a style that stays in place. Some of the newer styles also come with special rubber pieces attached that provide ultimate protection from slipping. Thick headbands look cute with full, wavy or curly hair. Thinner hair might be overwhelmed by a wide band. Look for styles in satin, metallics and fabric with flowered adornments.
*Double combs have moved to the forefront of hair fashions. These versatile combs are connected by elastic bands that allow the wearer to keep hair pulled back. The elastics could be beaded or plain. Tease the crown and pull half your hair back, use the combs to hold an updo in place or pull hair through the middle and use as a pony holder.
*Bobby pins are an old standby, but they too are seeing updates. The newest bobby pins come in colors to match your hair shade. They also offer slip-free grips. This helps you to keep your style the way that you want it. You can also find pins with small flowers and gems attached.
*Some hair accessory companies are now making their products using green technology. You can be earth friendly and have pretty hair with pieces made from bamboo, recycled plastic and even recycled paper. Look for clips, pony holders, headbands, barrettes and more.
*Jeweled hair clips help you to dress up your do quickly and easily. Available in various colors, these work great with any outfit. For formal events, try clips decked out in clear gems for a shimmery look.

Fashion and attitude go hand in hand

Ones fashion statement should also match up with ones attitude. Very frilly or colorful and exposing clothes probably will not suit a person who is very somber and serious all the time but they would look great on a cheerful person who loves outing and socializing. In the same manner someone who is very tomboyish will not feel comfortable in girly clothes even if it suites her. Forcefully following the latest fashion trend just because everyone is doing the same is one of the biggest fashion faux pas. Finding one’s own fashion statement that suites a person’s body type, personality and attitude perfectly can be a little difficult sometimes but the fact to be kept in mind is that are enough types of clothes, dresses, shoes, bags and accessohttps://content.copypress.com/article/article_set.php?article_id=60628&keyword_id=60628ries in fashion to meet everyone’s demands .
The right fashion sense should be coupled with the right hairstyle and makeup to get the perfect touch. The right hairstyle is very important to look good. whether one should have short hair , long hair , steps , laser cut , curls , bangs , wavy or straightened hair , front or side fringes depends on the face cut of a person. A person with a small face should avoid bangs and fringes as it would cover the already pretty tiny face. A long face on the other hand looks great with fringes as it balances the face. People with small forehead should also avoid fringes especially middle fringes or front fringes as the fringes would inconveniently come in the way of one’s eyes. They can however have side fringes. Tall females should avoid very short hair and females who are not tall should avoid very long hair. Ones hairstyle should balance ones face and body and make the most of one’s facial features.
